What needs to be done to WIN in 2022.

The modern political campaign has been fundamentally changed. Financially, ideologically, and morally, the elections of the future will operate under different rules than they have in past elections. If we are not prepared ahead of time, we will never be prepared for what the Left may do in upcoming elections. There are two sides to every coin and this is especially true in politics. We have the side of the coin that is about winning hearts and minds, then we have the business side of the coin. Looking back, the CCRC does the former very well. Our person to person campaigning strategies are unmatched, yet as elections change, both the CRCC and the GOP as a whole must adapt its strategies to account for the ever-changing nature of the political landscape. We must therefore bolster our business campaigning by focusing on two major avenues to victory: goal congruence and fundraising.

GOAL CONGRUENCE

Goal congruence describes the cross-platform consistency in messaging and strategy amongst the network of candidates we put forward. The GOP has struggled in the past in this regard, as different states and counties often have different ideas as to the future of the party, and which candidates best embody that idea. However, the left would like to paint us as a divided and outraged group on their way out the door from the political scene. To counteract this clear fabrication it is up to local influencers, like county parties and neighborhood interest groups, to come together as one cohesive unit to show the rest of America the mainstream media is lying. We here in Coconino County are uniquely positioned to push the Republican Party of Arizona in a forward direction that counters these ideas and puts our party on the road to victory!

We are the patriots acting as vaillant stewards of this beautiful slice of heaven we call home. We must come together and stand more united than we have before. We must take the reins of our prosperous state, and country, and decide where we want to go to make our home even greater. But we can only do so TOGETHER. In the words of our party founder: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

FUNDRAISING

Yet, goal congruence is only part of our parties journey to reclaiming our country. Our goals can be perfectly congruent, yet if our candidates do not raise enough money, not enough people will know what our goals are. Even worse, they will “buy” whatever falsehoods the radical left “sells” them. Republicans in Northern Arizona face a financial reckoning at the federal and local levels (Example provided below). Garnering support from the right businesses and the right individuals, both ideologically and financially, is our best path to reclaiming our state from the jaws of liberal indoctrination; and, it’s up to you, me and everyone in between to reinforce the strength of our party, our county, our state, and our great nation to ensure that we save America from those that would do it harm.

According to the chart, here in AZ CD 1, Democrat Tom O’Halleran raised more than twice the money that Republican Tiffany Shedd did ($3,358,220 compared to $1,676,057). Despite that, O’Halleran only edged past Shedd by about 3% of the total vote, which is a sign we are gaining ground in our county. This tells us that we need to raise more money, but we also need to evaluate our strategies for spending that money more effectively. It will not take $3.3 million to beat O’Halleran, but rather roughly $1.8 million, if spent wisely.

In conclusion, it is up to everyone of us to stem the tide of the flow of liberal money into our district, whether it be donations of $5 or $5000. Oftentimes, it is better to donate and contribute directly to your local party, local neighborhood interest groups, and local candidates because it helps ensure your money is spent on the things closest to home.
